Odyssey of our life begins with our first breath. Our point of start decides our destination. What will ensue, if a soul starts from the family with royal art culture? The answer to it is a finest artist Mangesh Patil. Mangesh’s genesis was the colours and canvas of his father. He was nurtured with art right into the womb. Consequence is as it should be as per the law of cosmos. He has become, what he should be after all that cultivation. A master of pragmatism.

Earl Nightingale says, “Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality”. Mangesh has justified Earl’s statement. Adolescent, is raw and gets readily wedged by the kind of input procured from surrounding. Mangesh grew up looking at his native place Daddi, Karnataka not only in realm but into the reformations in his father’s paintings. Meeting artists, visiting art exhibitions, reading, meditating, social interactions were all getting grasped subconsciously, into the young mind. His intriguity made him to jump on a stepping stone, an art school. Liberation of his skills began with the encounter of great global styles developed by masters and literatures recorded by philosophers. His Europe tour made him restless for attaining the apex. After academics he became one of the supreme realistic portrait artist with inimitable dash.

His water-oil colours, conte, charcoal and pastels were earnest to binge on his paper and canvases, the visuals from his voyage. His paintings are the synergy of pointillism and expressionism but in his own solitary style. Be it a strand of grass or a huge stone, green water each one is articulated precisely. Light and shadow, men and women, flora and fauna, streets and lanes are the staple cogs in his works. We can see the finest execution of perspective of hills & dells, distant expanded environ or close-by milieu. Cottony clouds on Cerulean sky are the protagonist of paintings always full of zip. Texture can be felt explicitly through sensitivities of viewer. The tranquility of the scenes that he had observed have replicated on his paintings. The warmth in the interrelationships of people with each other voices overtly. The moment that he apprehends from the sight he visited becomes immortal in his works.

Young artist orates,” Painter not only paints a subject with pencil and colours but he fills canvas with his personal views, ideas, sights, philosophy also. He shows other side of the life through his approach”.
